Erin Stalberg is the Associate Director for Collections and Faculty Relations Strategy at the MIT Libraries, where her portfolio includes Scholarly Communications and Collections Strategy, Technical Services, Distinctive Collections, Copyright Strategy, and Digital Preservation – advancing the Libraries’ goals for a more open and equitable scholarly landscape that prioritizes equity, diversity, inclusion, and social justice impact, digital-first collection-building, and increased access to emerging and distinctive formats. Erin has held previous positions in library collections and technical services at Mount Holyoke College (South Hadley, MA), North Carolina State University Libraries (Raleigh, NC), the University of Virginia Library (Charlottesville, VA), and as Librarian for Semester at Sea in spring 2007. She has taught as adjunct faculty at Simmons University and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and is actively involved with the American Library Association. Erin holds a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College and an M.L.S. from Drexel University.
