Michelle is the Director of Operations at J&J Editorial, which offers professional peer review management, production, copyediting, and consulting services to the scholarly publishing industry. At J&J, Michelle is responsible for the daily operations of the company, as well as working with other executive leadership to execute the company’s mission and strategic goals. Michelle is the Vice President of the International Society of Managing and Technical Editors, serves on the Career Development Committee for the Society for Scholarly Publishing, and is active in the SSP Mentorship Program. She has worked in various editorial office roles since 2010 and prior to that was an editor of scientific and medical textbooks. She holds a master’s degree in English and Publishing from Rosemont College and BA degrees in English and Philosophy from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
