Vaishali is Managing Editor of the Proceedings of the IEEE, and also IEEE Press, the book-publishing arm of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. She has spent over 20 years in technical publishing, previously at Springer Nature, where she held various editorial roles in mathematics, most recently as Senior Editor responsible for 11 journals and 20-25 books per year.
