JQST Module 6 | Tools and Technology

• “LIGHTNING” session on top tools

Journals Quick Starter

6
This training course will provide attendees with a complete overview of the academic journals ecosystem, giving them the “quick start” they need to navigate this evolving landscape. The course is composed of several “modules” touching on all major facets of journals publishing—financial skills and business models; marketing, editorial and production; data and decision making; and the tools and technology of journals publishing—each led by experts in their respective fields. The course has been designed especially for earlier- to mid-career professionals currently working in journals and hoping to gain a more rounded perspective on the journals publishing environment. It will also be useful to vendors, librarians, and book publishers who wish to enhance their understanding of journals publishing.
