About the Library

The SSP OnDemand Video Content Library is the “anywhere, anytime” source for scholarly communications professionals to learn about timely topics and recent developments in scholarly publishing. This asynchronous learning platform offers a variety of recorded video content that users can access when it’s convenient for them. Live screening events with live chats provide an opportunity to interact with presenters and others interested in the topic. Videos include full transcripts that are searchable and closed captioned. Additionally, the videos are tagged with applicable metadata for easier discovery.

New content is released each week. To purchase access to a video or a series of videos, please visit https://www.sspnet.org/events/ondemand to register. Look for the “Open” icon to view free content. You must log in/create a profile to participate in all live chats or Q&A sessions.

CAE icon

SSP is a CAE Approved Provider. SSP programs designated with the CAE Approved icon meet the requirements for fulfilling the professional development requirements to earn or maintain the Certified Association Executive credential. CAE Credit is only issued for live screening events and you must be logged in to participate in the live chat/Q&A. Unfortunately ASAE does not allow us to issue credit for content items viewed asynchronously.

Sponsored content, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities are available for the platform. Please contact partnerships@sspnet.org for more information.

About SSP

The Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP), founded in 1978, is a nonprofit organization formed to promote and advance communication among all sectors of the scholarly publication community through networking, information dissemination, and facilitation of new developments in the field.

SSP members represent all aspects of scholarly publishing — including publishers, printers, e-products developers, technical service providers, librarians, and editors. SSP members come from a wide range of large and small commercial and nonprofit organizations. They meet at SSP’s annual meetings, educational seminars, and regional events to hear the latest trends from respected colleagues and to discuss common and mutual (and sometimes divergent) goals and viewpoints.
