As Vice President, Medicine and Life Sciences (MLS), Jason Winkler leads an international team of publishing professionals responsible for 700 journals within the Springer portfolio. Within this portfolio, over 40% of the MLS journals are published on behalf of or in collaboration with society and institutional partners. Prior to joining Springer Nature, Jason served in leadership roles at Elsevier as Publishing Director for Life Sciences journals and at the American Psychological Association as Director of Journals Business Development. Jason holds an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the University of Maryland, College Park. He is based out of Springer Nature’s office in Philadelphia.
