Our industry is taking action for inclusion. In this session, the 2023 Workplace Equity (WE) survey committee will present results comparing 2018 and 2023 findings, sponsored by Coalition for Diversity and Inclusion in Scholarly Communications. We will report on changes in perceptions of workplace culture, values, and organizational support. We will involve the audience with anonymous polling to encourage engagement privately and safely, to share agreement and disagreement with sentiments. Then we'll choose themes to explore in this working session. At roundtables, we'll provide Workplace Equity survey data and resources from the DEIA toolkits and other resources to facilitate conversations. We'll explore practical recommendations to break down barriers and uplift values of belonging and inclusivity in our workplaces and industry-wide initiatives such as mentorship and recognition programs, networking and promotion opportunities.
